Mike Cox lives in Christchurch with his wife Fiona and family. Mike is a father and step father to 4 children and grandfather to 4 grandchildren. Both his step daughters were married in the Priory and 2 of his grandchildren were baptised there. Mike is a Chartered Accountant with 40 years’ experience in accountancy building up a national firm of Chartered Accountants from scratch.
As a former School Governor, and a technical college Governor Mike has a lifetime of commitment to education. As a London Borough Councillor and now a BCP councillor he has always worked hard for local residents in the area he lives.
Michael Tarling has lived in Christchurch for the last 25 years; a Chartered Construction Consultant he also has a keen interest in the Environment and Sciences.
He lives near Stanpit marsh with his wife and two children and is a keen birdwatcher. Michael is a member of Discover Science Christchurch a group of scientists and engineers hoping to open a new science attraction in Christchurch; Michael also is a STEM Ambassador and a member of local choirs and is proud to have appeared as the Genie of the Lamp in panto a few years ago.
