Boundary Review

There is proposal to change the electoral boundaries across the UK and there have been some major changes to Dorset.

The Electoral bourndary review 2023 gives constituents the opportunity to review the proposals and give feedback. Christchurch Lib Dems have reviewed the proposal and given their feedback as the proposals do suggest a significant change in our region.

The final recommendations will be announced on 1st July 2023.

The Boundary Commission is recommending each constituency has a population of no more than 77,062 and as Dorset is growing rapidly there are signifant changes ahead. Here are the recommendation for Christchurch.

All areas of Dorset have been affected in this proposal.
