Mike Cox the Parliamentary candidate for Christchurch constituency has welcomed the announcement of a General Election on July 4th Mike said

"The country has been begging for this moment for a long time and at last it has come. People have an opportunity now to rid the country of this government of chaos. It cannot come soon enough. In Christchurch it's a clear choice between the incumbent Conservative and myself. There is no other possible result. The Conservatives in Christchurch are in disarray with NO Councillors elected to BCP and both Labour and the Greens standing ZERO candidates in the recent elections in East Dorset."
