Dorset local elections

Nominations to stand in the above election have now closed. We will be standing Lib Dem candidates in all of the BCP District Council wards in Christchurch and in Town and Parish Council Wards also.We understand Lib Dem candidates will be standing in nearly all the other BCP wards across Bournemouth and Poole and we must have a great chance to overturn the Tory control of the Council in May.

As previously advised, Voter ID will be required if you intend to vote in person at any of the polling stations. This must be a photo ID - driving licence, passport or concessionary bus passes would be acceptable. A way to avoid this would be to register for a postal vote. I can send you the form or you can request one through the BCP Elections Office website. The closing date for applications is 5pm on 18th April.
